Bad weather has engulfed the country, says the forecaster: What is expected in
Forecaster Hakil Osmani

Albania has been affected by bad weather since Friday. Forecaster Hakil Osmani said that the following hours will bring a decrease in rainfall. The late evening hours will bring an improvement in conditions thus stopping the rain.

"As for the rainfall, the next hours expect to bring their weakening, causing us to have rains of moderate intensity, the rains from the western areas are moving towards the eastern areas, causing the afternoon and late evening hours to bring an improvement of weather conditions causing us to have interruptions in rainfall", said Osmani.

He emphasized that on Sunday the clouds will still be present even though the weather will be more stable.

"The morning of Sunday will remain in the central and southern areas with stable weather, clouds will be present, while in the northern areas we will have little rain. The second part of the day will be cloudy again in the Albanian territory, causing rain. Rainfall in the central and southern areas will be in small amounts, while in the northern areas, it is expected that we will have rain showers from time to time", he said.

We will have to wait for the beginning of next week, according to the forecaster, for more stable weather.

"The beginning of the week is expected to bring somewhat more stable weather. And the southern and central areas are more affected by this stable weather. The north will occasionally experience precipitation during the afternoons and evenings. It is a temporary situation as there are signals that mid-week will again bring rain with moderate intensity", said Osmani.
