Minister Evis Kushi in the Education Commission said that in the last mandate teachers' salaries increased by 32%, in the new mandate the commitment is for a minimum of 40%.

She added that this year they increased by 6% and next year by 7%.

" Teachers deserve more, we increased salaries last term despite the earthquake of the pandemic.

They have increased by 32%. In the new mandate, we are committed to a 40% increase, next year there will be another increase, until the end of the mandate, the minimum increase will be 40%. I repeat, teachers deserve more.

To assess quality in education we still need to make observations, although there is much to improve. Our curriculum is adapted, when the students go abroad, they do very well ", she declared.
