The case of Freddie Beller is taking on tragicomic proportions, as far as the behavior of our neighbors is concerned.

The latter, after having taken the issue to the highest international institutions, such as the European Union and the American State Department, have begun to openly threaten to block Albania's EU integration.

Recently, the Greek media announced that another Greek minister will go to Tirana to visit Fredi Beleri in prison.

It is about the Minister of Citizen Protection, Janis Ikonomu, who will come to Tirana as part of the Berlin Process that will gather the Interior Ministers in Tirana.

After the meeting with Interior Minister Taulant Balla, Ikonomu will hold a meeting with the Archbishop of the Autocephalous Albanian Orthodox Church, Anastas Janullatos.

On Friday, September 15, around 11:00, the Greek minister will travel to Durrës where he will meet Fredi Beleri in prison.

Earlier, Beleri was visited in prison by Archbishop Janullatos, who also presented him with a church icon.

While during a protest for his release in Himare, the mayors of Athens and Thessaloniki arrived.
