Monika Kryemadhi stated on the show "Breaking" with Fiori Dardha, on Top News, that she regrets that the Freedom Party is heading towards extinction, emphasizing that this situation is a consequence of a deliberate process of criminalizing the political force that it has built for years.

"I am sorry that the Freedom Party is on the verge of extinction. I have invested everything in this party, my entire circle, my mother, my husband are today in the hands of the court, because they want to criminalize a political party that was an innovation in Albanian politics, a party that sought alliances," said Kryemadhi.

According to her, the problems that Albanian politics is experiencing today did not exist before, while she emphasized that a large portion of prisoners are in pre-trial detention.

"Today we have 80% of prisoners in pre-trial detention. Today we are the Republic of SPAK," she declared.

Asked whether the opposition could turn into an alternative government, Kryemadhi said that the main problem lies in the methodology and lack of consistency.

Kryemadhi also made strong accusations about the arrest of Ilir Meta, describing it as the result of an agreement between two major parties.

"Meta's imprisonment is an agreement between two major parties to continue their affairs," she declared.

She admitted that both she and Ilir Meta have made mistakes, but emphasized that these mistakes are related to crossing boundaries to help people.

"Meta and I have our mistakes. We have done more than necessary for people. If you take an emergency doctor and tell him 'I have so-and-so', today SPAK would call it abuse of power. This was our mistake," said Kryemadhi.

Kryemadhi harshly criticized the media and politics for their silence regarding the manner of Ilir Meta's imprisonment, emphasizing that he has been left in oblivion for eight months.

"No show, no journalist, no PL MP spoke about the violations of Meta's imprisonment rules. He was forgotten in prison for eight months, no one went to visit him. Every two months a prisoner has the right to be informed about the investigations," she said.
