Monika Kryemadhi on the "Breaking" show on Top News, in an open conversation in the studio, with a cup of coffee in front of her, spoke about her relationship with her ex-husband Ilir Meta, their separation after 33 years of cohabitation, as well as her personal experiences in relation to recent developments, including SPAK.
Asked about her breakup with Ilir Meta and his rejection of her, Kryemadhi said that the breakup was unexpected not only for her, but also for the children.
"It was unexpected for me and for the children. In a 33-year relationship, we have definitely had our ups and downs, but the conflicts have not been personal, they have been political. Politics has placed barriers on us and put us in very difficult moments," she said.
According to Kryemadhi, the divorce came as a result of outside interference and the influence of politics and certain interest groups. She emphasized that both were tired of the constant conflicts and the intensity of the life they had led over the years.
"People saw it as a beautiful and luxurious life, but in fact it was a stressful, exhausting life, and the greatest consequences were suffered by the children," said Kryemadhi.
Asked if Ilir Meta feels betrayed by her, Kryemadhi said that he has been influenced by the rumors and words that have reached him over the years, which, according to her, has made him skeptical and disappointed.
"He felt attacked by the rumors that were going around about me. This made him skeptical and disappointed. All men are a little paranoid, especially at a certain age. We talk about menopause, but we should also talk about andropause," said Kryemadhi.
