An unusual sight in Albanian parliamentary life, but also for the Albanian public!

SP MP Ilva Gjuzi appeared before the Committee on Natural Resources, Infrastructure and Sustainable Development, along with her baby.  

While holding her child against her chest, the socialist legislator, elected for the first time in this legislature, was not deprived of participating in the discussion.

The chairwoman of this committee, Anila Denaj, welcomed the deputy, while emphasizing that her presence with the child could be a good omen.

"Ms. Gjuzi, I hope it will be not only a good presence for your child but also in the spirit of sustainable development and one of the objectives of sustainable development is that which is related to gender equality and all policies in the spirit of this, your presence here in spirit best suits it.", said Denaj. Meanwhile, Gjuzi spoke about technical issues of the commission.
