Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted again to the fire that engulfed Kruja, sharing footage from the operation on the ground, and expressing gratitude to the pilots, officers, and the army and police who protected the lives of residents.
The head of government has published a message from a resident, in which the latter thanks him for the air intervention and his commitment to avoiding the tragedy.
Among other things, the head of government indicates that currently only one isolated hotbed is active on the top of Kruja Mountain.
RAMA'S REACTION:
Deep gratitude and respect for the Air Force pilots, Fire Protection and Rescue personnel, as well as the special forces of the army and police, who protected the lives of the residents of Kruja amidst the flames, successfully overcoming a daunting challenge, and from Kruja to Kamëz, Tirana and Vora, they fought non-stop with the fires of this scorching August.
*Currently, only one isolated hearth on the top of Mount Kruja remains active, but at the same time, the countless congratulations and messages from residents remain a source of pride and motivation for our troops, including this message:
"Mr. Prime Minister, I am from the city of Kruja, an immigrant for 30 years in Belgium. First, I wish you good health. Second, I want to thank you personally for the support with the air intervention and the government's commitment to the tragedy that occurred. Third, the firefighters of Kruja did everything they could to extinguish that unprecedented fire. With respect."
