Details emerge from the investigation into the murder of 20-year-old Johan Zuko in Korça by his childhood friend, Kristjan Sterjo.

The perpetrator Kristjan Sterjo, who was captured after about 6 hours on the run, has given his testimony before the investigative group regarding the motive for the serious incident.

According to his testimony, the conflict between the two young men was related to several previous episodes, while one of the causes that allegedly led to the escalation of the situation was the harassment of the alleged perpetrator's girlfriend.

But, in addition to this conflict, investigators are also considering previous clashes between the two young men, who allegedly had arguments over claims about who was the "strongest" in the neighborhood.

According to the investigation so far, the alleged perpetrator and the victim had been in a verbal conflict several days before the incident. It is suspected that both parties had clashed and harassed each other, causing the relationship between them to escalate.

The situation would then take on another dimension. According to the author's testimony, on the day of the incident, he took the gun and went after the 20-year-old, shooting him in the back with a bullet, which proved fatal for Johan Zuko's life.

The conflict, which allegedly started for weak motives, starting with claims about who was considered the "strongest" in the neighborhood, was later accompanied by constant harassment, insults, and clashes between the two young men.

The collision ended tragically with the murder of 20-year-old Johan Zuko, while Kristjan Sterjo fled the scene and was arrested about 6 hours later by police forces near his apartment. Sterjo was hiding in an area near the city cemetery, but he left there to approach the apartment. It was at this moment that the police spotted him and immediately intervened to capture him.

The investigative team continues to work to fully uncover the dynamics of the event, while the testimony of the suspected perpetrator and the evidence collected are expected to help determine the exact circumstances and motive that led to the serious crime.
