Tax inspectors held hostage, administrator and 4 employees of Golem resort arrested

The administrator and 4 employees of a resort in Golem have been arrested after allegedly holding Tax employees hostage inside the resort's premises for some time.

The resort's administrator, Sajmir Ndrecaj, finance chief Zaho Jaçaj, security chief Artan Kasa, and two security employees, Hamid Sula and Bujar Agolli, have been arrested by the police.

The police say that the 5 arrested, in collaboration with each other, on 18.07.2026, obstructed and held for a considerable time, within the premises of a resort in Golem, employees of the Task Force of the General Directorate of Taxes, who were carrying out their duties.

They kept employees of the Task Force of the General Directorate of Taxes locked up for a considerable time inside the premises of a resort in Golem, and the administrator and 4 other resort employees were handcuffed.

The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Kavaja Police Station, following a report made by employees of the Task Force of the General Directorate of Taxes, arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty", the following citizens:

SN, 34 years old, resort administrator;

ZJ, 56 years old, chief finance officer at the resort;

AK, 56 years old, resort security chief;

HS, 64 years old, resort security worker;

BA, 57 years old, resort security employee.

Their arrest was made after it is suspected that, in collaboration with each other, on 18.07.2026, they obstructed and kept locked up, for a considerable time, within the premises of a resort in Golem, employees of the Task Force of the General Directorate of Taxes, who were performing their duties.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
