An Albanian is aiming for the post of mayor in Greece. It is about the girl originally from Gjirokastra, Kristina (Klara) Jani, who aims to get the citizens' vote after the local elections in October to be placed in charge of the Corinth Municipality.

Kristina (Klara) Jani will compete in the elections under the slogan of the party "Political Path" (Πολιτικ? Δι?ξοδος).

Kristina (Klara) Jani was born in 1991 in Gjirokastër and since 1992 is a permanent resident in the Municipality of Corinth and is active as a freelancer in the Public Transport sector (MMM).

She graduated from EPAL of Lutraki in the specialty "Technician of IT applications, PC and Network". She is also a graduate of IEK Corinth with the specialty "Rescuer - Ambulance Crew".

As an Anemic sufferer herself, she is particularly sensitive to health issues and is an active member of the Mediterranean Anemic Society of N. Corinthia.

Kristina (Klara) Jani is a single parent since 2013 as the mother of an 11-year-old son. She is the daughter of the well-known activist Marianthi Jani.
