A success story, of a young Albanian who came out of the auditoriums of the Polytechnic University of Tirana,  Oltion Prifti , who after completing his bachelor's studies at UPT in 2012, managed to become the most Albanian through work and dedication in the technology sector. first, employed by Elon Musk .

After a previous experience in Sweden, the young Albanian was employed as an automation engineer in the offices of the "Tesla" company in Berlin.

He confessed to A2 that he is currently engaged in the production of batteries for electric cars of the last generation, where Cybertrack is also a part.

"I graduated in electronic engineering. I first heard about Tesla in 2021 when I finished my Bachelor at the Polytechnic University in Tirana. It's a long story that started when I moved to Sweden. In Albania I worked mostly as a web-developer, but I preferred the engineering part more. In 2014 I applied to many companies, especially in Scandinavia, and in 2015 I received a job offer for Sweden and there was the first job where I focused on the engineering part of programming and development. In 2019 I had a project with the Swedish company in California and I was impressed that over 50% working at this client were ex-Tesla employees. There I came into contact with people and started to get interested. In 2021 I started to make several applications to Tesla in California, meanwhile they contacted me after 5 months from Berlin since America did not allow the entry of foreign nationals due to COVID. That's where it started. I am currently involved in the development of the entire production part of the battery cells, which are completely the latest technology that Tesla is producing for the last generation of electric cars.”

Asked if he managed to get a meeting with Elon Musk, Oltioni revealed that he confronted him at the company's offices in Berlin, which the Tesla and Platform X CEO visits every three months.

"Not to speak. It is once every three months. That person is like a machine that never stops working. He can only take one day off a year and you have that in every company he manages."
