Elbasan police have arrested the suspected perpetrator of the failed assassination attempt on Mir Bitoci.

That arrested person is Poli Boriçi (52 years old).

After the arrest of the 52-year-old, the police announced that they had also seized the firearm, a pistol.

After receiving a report, at around 1:00 PM, that in the outdoor premises of a bar, in the "28 Nëntori" neighborhood, Elbasan, a citizen had attempted to kill citizen EK, 50 years old, with a firearm, the Police services organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrator.

Thanks to the immediate response of the Police and the professional actions carried out within the framework of the "Reaction" operation, it was possible to identify and capture the suspected perpetrator, citizen PB, 52 years old.

At the same time, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, the pistol firearm with which the perpetrator attempted to kill the 50-year-old.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, investigative and procedural actions continue to clarify the circumstances and complete legal documentation of the case.
