Conflict within the family in Dibër, 34-year-old man rapes sister-in-law, her son shoots gun in the air

A family conflict in Majtarë, Dibra, has risked escalating, after a 34-year-old man raped his sister-in-law, while her son fired a gun into the air.

The police announced through an official announcement that 34-year-old DE is suspected of raping his sister-in-law, 40-year-old FE. After the conflict, the 40-year-old's son, 19-year-old FE, is suspected of taking the gun and shooting in the air, with the aim of threatening his uncle.

The police intervened in time, arresting the 34-year-old, while the 19-year-old is wanted.

Three other people have been prosecuted for the incident. Two women, aged 40 and 25, are suspected of raping each other, while a 38-year-old man is being prosecuted for allegedly attempting to hide evidence at the scene.

The 34-year-old who raped his sister-in-law is arrested, the 19-year-old who fired a gun into the air is wanted, and 3 others are being processed at large.

Immediately after being notified of a conflict in a family in the village of Majtarë, the services of the Dibër Police Commissariat organized the work and went to the scene to clarify the circumstances and involvement in the conflict.

As a result of timely intervention and police actions, further escalation of the conflict was prevented and citizen DE, 34 years old, was arrested, after allegedly raping his sister-in-law, citizen FE, 40 years old.

Meanwhile, the 40-year-old's son, citizen FE, 19, was declared wanted, who is suspected of having fired a firearm into the air, with the aim of threatening citizen DE, his uncle. Work continues to capture him and checks to find and seize the firearm used during the conflict.

Also, criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens FE, 40 years old, and AE, 25 years old, for raping each other, as well as against citizen EE, 38 years old, for allegedly attempting to hide evidence at the scene.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër, for further action.
