A large sum of money was seized and an Albanian was arrested at the Croatia-Bosnia border .
During checks at the Karasovići customs point, police found 702,435 euros hidden in a vehicle driven by an Albanian .
The vehicle was leaving Croatia for Montenegro. This is much larger than the amount of cash seized at the Croatian borders, local media report.
"During a check on the way out of Croatia, 702,435 euros were found hidden in the car of an Albanian citizen, which is one of the largest cash seizures at the Croatian borders," Croatian Customs announced.
The Albanian driver tried to evade the police, but was caught in time by customs authorities.
His identity has not been revealed to the media, while investigations are continuing to fully clarify the circumstances of the case and to discover the origin of the seized money./ Kamenjar
