Help is being sought for the treatment of the 25-year-old waitress injured in the Shkodra attack, family members: We cannot afford the bills

The family of Meri Kacerri, the 25-year-old who was injured in the Shkodra massacre while working at the bar where the attack occurred, have asked for help.

They have made an announcement to make monetary donations on "gofundme", with the aim of further curating it.

"The situation is very delicate and requires immediate medical intervention, surgeries and treatments that are associated with considerable expenses, so, with great difficulty, but with our hands on our hearts, we turn to you, friends, acquaintances and every kind heart that can lend a hand.

Every contribution, no matter how small, is a step towards hope, healing, and Meri's return to her normal life.

Our gratitude is endless for any support, whether it be financial, spiritual, or even simply sharing this campaign with others.

"Let's all help Mary get back on her feet," the announcement reads.

The 25-year-old was working as a waitress at a bar in the center of Shkodra when bullets were fired at the table of Erogen Vaso (Brajovic), who was also the target. The attack killed his two friends, while he and the waitress were injured.

Top Channel learns that the young woman is in stable condition and out of danger to her life, while an intervention is necessary on her arms, where she was wounded, due to fractures.

The young woman is being treated at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.
