Tirana-Durrës highway in chaos.

Vehicle traffic has been difficult for several hours due to intense rainfall.

It takes about 1 hour, maybe more, to move from the capital to the Durrës area.

Just earlier this morning, the State Police warned citizens to be careful if they are going to move on this road axis, which is completely covered by water.

A van has been left stranded on the side of the road, unable to move and waiting for a tow truck, while several ambulances have also been left stuck in traffic.

Due to the high risk, there is a movement deviation.

Vehicles coming from the south towards Tirana should circulate from Rruga e Plepave to Ndroq and from the Rrogozhinë–Elbasan–Tirana road .

To reach Durrës, the crossing will be made from the university road, towards Spitalla and on the Tirana–Elbasan–Rrogozhinë road .
