"I did it, I don't care how much the penalty is, I want to pay."

These are the words of Marian Pepa, the 52-year-old Albanian arrested for the murder of his compatriot Artan Kaja a few days ago in Italy.

Pepa was arrested and is being held at the San Giorgio prison in Lucca. It was initially reported that "Toni" as Artan Kaja was known to everyone had died of natural causes. He was found dead inside his factory by his wife on January 7th.

Later, after investigations, it turned out that Kaja had been killed with a gun. The suspect is Marian Pepa, whom she had known for years.

The suspected perpetrator of the murder, according to an initial reconstruction, had studied in detail the plan to secretly enter the factory.

However, there are many questions that have not yet been clarified. First of all, the motive, since Pepa surrendered to the police immediately after the incident.

Italian media reports that in recent months the two Albanians had had a dispute, exactly in the same place where Kaja was killed.

The murder weapon has not yet been found. Pepa is expected to be questioned today and investigators believe his testimony could shed light on the case.
