A sensational statement was made yesterday by lawyer Alban Duraj, who during an interview with "Top News" said that Bleona Mata has been found.
According to the lawyer, she lives in a European Union country, together with her adoptive parents, a Greek couple.
But after this statement, a reaction came from the Mata family's lawyer, Idajet Beqiri .
Beqiri has rejected lawyer Duraj's statement, calling it irresponsible. He told Top Channel that Duraj has no connection to the case.
"Not only is it irresponsible, but it creates legal problems, it throws the prosecution in a direction it shouldn't go. It also has serious problems with the family, Bleona's mother, other loved ones, her brother. It hurts them unfairly. This person has no connection, I don't know why he got involved here," the lawyer said.
Regarding Bleona's mother, Mrs. Bukurie, Beqiri said that she is apparently used to such statements, as even on social networks, what is not said is said.
"Someone says he got married here, someone found him here, someone says he was adopted. There are many theories. I am waiting for all of them with pain, even this statement, but I know it is a lie, a big fraud," said the lawyer.
Asked if he has any information about the girl mentioned by lawyer Duraj, Beqiri said that it is all a 'shameful fabrication'.
"It's even a criminal offense. I don't want to talk too much about it, our community has all kinds of people. Vetting was done everywhere, but it needs to be done within the lawyers as well. What are we not hearing," the lawyer continued.
According to Beqiri, the investigations into Bleona's case are in a different direction and these statements simply distract attention. He adds that it is an abnormal situation in the investigations of this matter.
"It's like a pumpkin patch, the Kukës Prosecutor's Office takes the case and stops it, sends it to the Police. The latter takes it and returns it to the Prosecutor's Office, which then sends it to SPAK. SPAK does nothing. At the moment, it is a 'dead' case, it is suspended, there is nothing concrete in the right direction. It is a great misfortune, in such a big crime for 16 years, today the girl is 22 years old, the case is not being taken in the right direction", concluded lawyer Beqiri./ Tch
