"We are in the water and we have a family"/ The voice message of the
The boat

New details have been revealed from the drowning of the raft that was transporting immigrants from the French coast to Great Britain.

Citing their sources, British media reports that a voice message was sent from a sinking boat to the French charity Utopia. The message was a cry for help.

Nikolai Posner, the charity's communications officer, told the paper that the 22-second WhatsApp voice message was left at 1.53am UK time.

In the voice message, a man can be heard pleading for help and saying that the boat is stuck in the water and that there is a family inside, while children can be heard crying in the background.

We recall that at least 4 people died after the dinghy sank in the English Channel and 43 people were rescued by the naval forces. Among the people who were rescued, there was an Albanian, identified as Denis, from the north of Albania.
