Rezarta Basha

Starting today, the registration of students for the first and tenth grades for this school year will be done through the e-Albania system.

The specialist in the Ministry of Education, Rezarta Basha, indicates that the steps for student registration are defined in the system and can be performed by the parent who has custody of the child.

"Today, for the first time, the registration of first-grade students has started, through the e-Albania portal, which will help all students who will register for the first time, for the 2022-2023 school year.
The steps of the procedure for registering students in the first grades are clearly defined in the e-Albania system. The person who has parental responsibility must complete the registration in this system and must complete the necessary data according to the established procedure", she told EuroNews Albania.

Basha emphasized that the registration of students should be done only in the area where they live. She added that after accepting the registration, the parent must also submit the child's vaccination card, 10 days before the beginning of the school year.

"Students must register only in the area where they have their residence. The territory coverage map that has been approved by the local unit must be respected during registration.

In case of acceptance of the registration, the parent who violates the custody is obliged to physically deliver the child's vaccination card to the school where he registered, 10 days before the beginning of the school year. Schools are clearly defined in the system. There are several options for schools based on the territory map. The same thing applies to the tenth grades", said Basha.

Registration for first grades starts today, July 4th until July 17th, while for tenth grades from July 12-24th.
