Two cars were burned during the night in the area known as the former URT in Durrës. The cars were parked close to each other, while the arson is suspected to be intentional.

One of the Fuoristrada vehicles belongs to OSHEE chief engineer Arben Alushi. It is suspected that the fire was set because of duty.

The fire started in Alushi's car and then the flames engulfed the other car as well.

The police are examining the security cameras in the area to clarify the dynamics of the event.

"In the early hours of the morning, in neighborhood No. 17, the parked Benz type vehicle, owned by citizen AA, caught fire.

As a result of the spread of the flames, another vehicle, owned by the citizen EH, which was parked next to the "Benz" type vehicle, was also burnt.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues to work to clarify the circumstances and determine the cause of the fire," the Police announced.
