A burned-out car has been found in the village of Postribë, suspected to have been used by the perpetrator(s) of today's attack in Shkodra.

According to the police, TNT was placed in the parked car of Enea Busukja, who had just started the vehicle when it exploded.

As a result, the 38-year-old man was injured and is in hospital. It turns out that he is an employee of the Tax Office in Shkodra, and does not appear to be a person with problems or a criminal record.

Police announcement:

At around 11:35, in the "Ndoc Mazi" neighborhood, when citizen EB started his vehicle, a quantity of explosive material exploded in the vehicle.

As a result, citizen EB, 38 years old, was injured, was taken to hospital and is currently out of danger.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is carrying out actions to clarify the circumstances of the case, identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s).
