The former director of AKSHI, Mirlinda Karçanaj, appeared today at SPAK, where she only stayed for a few minutes.
As can be seen from the footage, Karçanaj, against whom a 'compulsory appearance' measure has been imposed for the scandal at the ANA, has entered the premises of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, alone.
We recall that she was under house arrest, but the Supreme Court eased her security measure, leaving her under obligation to appear. Karçanaj is among the 8 defendants in the scandal with the AKSHI tenders, who are accused of being part of a structured criminal group, manipulating tender procedures, favoring companies and exerting pressure on competing operators.
They were charged with the following criminal offenses: illegal competition through violence, illegal deprivation of liberty, violation of equality in tenders, organized criminal group, and money laundering.
