Regarding the event that happened yesterday evening in Don Bosco, we inform you that:


On 12.03.2023, around 21:05, on "Anastas Shundi" street, in the direction of the bar owned by citizen FM, an automatic firearm was fired and as a result the citizen Mimoza Paja, 58 years old, was killed. who was employed as a bartender, and 5 citizens were injured, 3 of whom continue to be in the trauma hospital receiving medical assistance.

The special investigative group continued to carry out actions at the scene, finding and seizing material evidence, questioning the injured and eyewitnesses and seizing film footage. On 13.03.2023, the place of the event was re-examined, where some other evidence valuable for the investigation was found and seized.

Yes, on 13.03.2023, in the early hours of the morning, in the place called "Ura e Sul Meres", in the territory of the village of Likmetaj, the structures of the Local Directorate of the Durrës Police found a burnt vehicle, inside which are found 3 automatic firearms.

The investigative team examined the burned vehicle and seized some valuable evidence for the investigation. From the verification of the chassis number of the vehicle, it appears that this BMW type vehicle, series 5, (525) in gray color, was stolen during the night on 14.03.2021, in district no. 13, Durrës.

All the material evidence seized at the scene on "Anastas Shundi" street and in the village of Likmetaj, have been sent to the Scientific Police Institute where they are undergoing further examinations.

The dynamics of this event are as follows:

The perpetrators approached the BMW type vehicle, with foreign license plates, on "Anastas Shundi" street, stopped the car next to the citizen FM bar, and two of the perpetrators got out of the car and opened fire in the direction of the bar. After that, the perpetrators got into the vehicle and quickly left in the direction of the military hospital, continued on the Tirana - Durrës highway, diverted the road to the Vora overpass and burned the vehicle in the village of Likmetaj.

The Structures of Serious Crimes in the Local Directorate of the Tirana Police, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Tirana and with the support of the Department of Criminal Police in the General Directorate of the State Police, are analyzing information about suspected perpetrators and the motives of this event.

M., ndërsa në kontrollin e datës 12.03.2023, gjatë kontrollit ky shtetas nuk është gjetur në banesë dhe është shpallur në kërkim dhe punohet për gjetjen dhe arrestimin e tij.
