The police also confirm that an off-duty police officer, Inspector L. Xh, is suspected of being involved in the conflict. He has been escorted, while procedural actions are being taken against him by the Police Supervision Agency (AMP).

A pistol cartridge was seized at the scene and, according to preliminary investigations, it is suspected that a gun was fired once into the air during the conflict.

Meanwhile, the Police announce that they have surrounded the area, set up checkpoints and are continuing the search to capture the perpetrators.

Denis Tafili, wanted by SPAK on charges of cocaine trafficking and money laundering within the framework of the "Troplini" criminal organization file, turns out to be moving freely and getting involved in a conflict that escalated to the use of firearms.

Another question is related to the time of the Police's reaction. The event, according to the official announcement itself, occurred around 15:00, while the Durrës Police only reacted around 22:30, after the news had been published for hours.

Over seven hours of silence for a gun conflict, where the protagonists are a person wanted by SPAK and a police officer.

This delay raises questions about why such an event was kept out of official notice for so long.

On 24.07.2026, at around 15:00, the Operations Room of the Durrës DVP was notified that, in the village of Shkallnur, during a conflict for weak motives, citizen E. Gj, 36 years old, was hit with hard objects (including a pistol) by citizens DT, 41 years old, a person previously declared wanted, and GM, 27 years old, both residents of Shkallnur, Durrës, who after the incident left by vehicle.
