New details have been revealed regarding the attack that occurred yesterday near Rinas Airport, where Gilmando Dani and Police Surveillance Agency agent Muçi Sheqeri were killed.
Sources from the investigation report that the perpetrators of the attack had waited for about 10 minutes at the Rinas roundabout before intervening.
Meanwhile, the area stretching from Nikla to Rinas remained without electricity at the time of the attack, and it is suspected that the outage was intentionally caused to obstruct security cameras.
Investigators are also verifying data that suggests the perpetrators may have had an informant in Spain who notified them of the departure of the plane carrying the victims.
Their flight had been delayed, but the perpetrators did not change their plan, waiting for the right moment to strike.
