Three young people, among them an 18-year-old Albanian identified as Samuel Tafciu, have lost their lives after an explosion occurred yesterday morning in a fireworks factory in Italy.

Italian media reports that the young people were on their first day of work.

The explosion killed Tafciu and twins Sara and Aurora Esposito, 26 years old.

The warehouse, an illegal factory, was set up over the weekend and had not received any authorization from the competent authorities.

Samuel had become a father only 4 months ago.

Of Albanian origin, he had been in Italy for years and lived in Ponticelli with his 17-year-old wife in his mother-in-law's house. Yesterday was his first day of work at the factory and, unfortunately, the last of his life.

His mother-in-law, Anna Campagna, has spoken to the Italian media about the tragedy.

"The police called us and we ran here immediately. Samuel was my son-in-law, married to my 17-year-old daughter. They have a 4 month old daughter and he worked for her and his wife. He was a working boy. He had been in Italy for 10 years and had all the cards in order. He was burned alive, it was the first day of work," said Mrs. Anna, the victim's mother-in-law, amid screams and tears, as reported by Il Mattino.

"My granddaughter will grow up without her father and my daughter, who is only 17 years old, already has a ruined life."

“The two dead girls were also single mothers, working for their young children. My son-in-law called us at 1:00 p.m., told us they were having a sandwich. Then an hour later tragedy struck. Three destroyed families, who will return our children?", she concluded.
