The head of the Municipality of Tirana has requested a detailed investigation into the causes of the fire that engulfed a building today in Tirana.

Fortunately there were no casualties, but the damage is extensive and the culture of fire insurance for apartments is not yet as widespread as for vehicles.

So the costs will be high for the injured, although the Municipality also announced an aid grant for household appliances for the injured families.

The reaction of the institutions of the Municipality, especially the firefighters, has been excellent, making it possible for the serious event to be closed without casualties.

What caused this fire?

According to the head of the fire department, the fire first fell on the second floor, then the composition of the facade helped it climb up.

Some residents said a doctor's office on this floor has an oven, but details are not yet known.

Meanwhile, widespread footage shows a huge fire at the top of the building.

Sources very close to the event told DITA that Mhill Fufi, a controversial character, ex-DP deputy who was subsequently expelled from this party, lives on the top two floors of the building.

The silent Fufi from Laçi is remembered more than for political statements, for the episode with Tom Doshi's accusations of murder by Meta, where he also mentioned Fufi.

It remains to be verified if the fire is related to this area of the palace./Gazeta Dita
