SPAK has also taken the head of the Albanian Road Transport Agency, Gentian Gjyli, as a defendant for violations with the tender with a limit fund of 190 million euros excluding VAT for the Llogara tunnel.
The head of the ARRSH appeared before SPAK this morning, where, according to sources, he was charged with violating equality in tenders. The same charge for which Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, was also indicted on Friday.
Gjyli preferred not to give any comments to the media and did not even answer the question of whether the defendant had been arrested. Meanwhile, his lawyer, in a brief response, confirmed that they had gone to SPAK for the investigation into the Llogara tunnel.
But it is also learned that SPAK will also communicate the accusation of violating equality in tenders to the former head of ARRSH, Evis Berberi, the director of KESH Erald Elezit, as well as two citizens, in their capacity as members of the bid evaluation committee.
The SPAK investigation concerns the large project for the construction of the Llogara tunnel, part of the Orikum Himara road, which is a section of the Vlora-Saranda highway.
