It is known that shortly before the assassination, the 19-year-old's father called his son asking him to accompany him to Montenegro, but Xhenja refused, saying that he was at the bar drinking coffee. Shortly after the murder, the father was informed and went to the scene, where he was also seen bursting into tears for his son.

The investigative group is continuing the work to clarify the event, while the cameras of the area where the assassination took place have been seized, with the aim of observing them if they can lead to the identification of the perpetrators. So, people have been interrogated in relation to the event, but there is still no sign of the perpetrators.
