As previously reported, an incident occurred during an interview of Prime Minister Edi Rama with journalist Andrew Callaghan for the "Channel 5" platform.

The head of the Albanian government interrupted the conversation and unexpectedly left the interview before it ended.

The tension began when Callaghan asked tough questions about sensitive issues.

The interview was focusing on corruption, money laundering and drug trafficking in Albania.

The situation worsened when the American journalist asked Prime Minister Rama about his connections, specifically mentioning his relationship with Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, and his projects on the Albanian coast.
