Clashes between fans of Rome and Feyenoord on the streets of Tirana one night before the final of the Conference League have caused a stir in the Italian media.

Italian media write that a considerable number of injured, at least 15 were registered tonight and 48 Italians were arrested. According to the Italians, the night before the final where Roma will play against Feyenoord, has turned into a night of guerrilla warfare.

Excerpts from their article:

Clashes with the police, who were forced to draw their weapons to keep away from the ultrasound, especially the Dutch, but not only, who also went to the courtyard of one of the government buildings. A total of 9 officers were injured, almost all of whom ended up in hospital. And the finale is still a whole day away.

The vigil of the match was preceded by the collision where a 45-year-old Albanian was seriously injured in the head and was taken to hospital, inside the fan area where a group of Dutch ultras were located. According to the owner of the restaurant where the clash took place, during the quarrel with the Dutch, an Albanian accidentally hit him with a chair. Nine Feyenoord fans were taken to the police station for investigation.

After the incidents that injured the 45-year-old, Feyenoord fans did not calm down, launching sticks towards the stadium area. Police confirmed that there were "three cases of clashes", in two of which there were clashes, with beatings and throwing stones, between law enforcement officers and supporters from the Netherlands. Other incidents occurred in one of the nightlife areas in Tirana, a few hundred meters from the government headquarters, on Mustafa Matohiti Street, below the house of Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha.

About 200 Dutch hooligans confronted police, using batons and throwing stones at officers, two of whom were wounded. Other incidents between Feyenoord agents and ultras have occurred near the police headquarters in Tirana, in one of the central areas of the capital. Special units of law enforcement intervened and a police car was left with broken windows.

But as the hours passed, the Italians entered the scene and threw stones, causing damage to the cars. Two Italians, apparently Roma fans, are in hospital after being involved in clashes with police in Tirana. One suffered facial injuries, the other from head trauma.

The owner of the bar: "Clashes that Albanians were shouting Rome Roma". The owner of the bar, where the quarrel took place, says: It all started when the man who was beaten, to provoke the Dutch fans, started praising the Italian team, shouting "Rome, Rome".

Despite the attempts of our staff to calm the blood, a quarrel has arisen between three Albanians, including the provocateur, and Dutch fans. A curiosity: it was not a Dutchman who hit him with a chair and knocked down the Albanian, but a friend of his, an Albanian like him, who enthusiastically made a mistake ".
