The perpetrator of the injury: Jorgo Rustemi

New details from the injury of 26-year-old  Kostandin Ziu , which occurred yesterday evening in Korça.

The conflict may have started in the presence of a girl.

Police suspect that the perpetrator Jorgo Rustemi fled the scene with the girl in another vehicle, while a rental vehicle previously used by the perpetrator was left at the scene, a vehicle that the police searched on Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, the police have been searching for the perpetrator since the moment of identification, while dozens of people who may have been witnesses at the time of the injury have been questioned about the incident.

As for the injured man, according to the white shirts at the Tirana hospital, the 26-year-old has fallen into a coma.

Jorgo Rustem is known to the Korça police after being arrested in 2020 on charges of selling and producing narcotics, where he served his sentence in Drenova prison.

Rustemi was released in September 2023, where he met 26-year-old Kostandin Ziu , who was serving a sentence for the same charge.

Ziu was transferred to Peqin prison in 2022 and, according to police sources, Rustemi and Ziu had recently been hanging out together in the city of Korça.
