Justice convinced Strasbourg to reinstate prosecutor Antoneta Sevdari, for the years she was unemployed. The magistrate has asked the judiciary to order institutions to pay her salary after the dismissal by Vetting was rejected.

The defendants in this case are the High Prosecutorial Council and the Prosecutor's Office, each of whom is claiming the right to salary and pension. Antoneta Sevdari is asking the administrative appeal to force the council to pay her full salary as a member of the KLP.

At the time of her dismissal from office, Sevdari held the mandate of a member of the Council and therefore the prosecutor returned from Strasbourg is requesting that the state pay her as a member from March 1, 2019 until the day her mandate was to end on March 19, 2021. Sevdari is also requesting to be paid her salary as a prosecutor during the time she was unemployed, along with social security and health insurance contributions from 2021 to 2024.

After the Strasbourg decision that declared her dismissal as a prosecutor invalid, Antoneta Sevdari also addressed the KLP for the missing salaries, but was told that she would have to seek them through the courts. Meanwhile, dozens of administrative lawsuits have also been filed by dismissed judges and prosecutors who are demanding temporary salaries after being rejected by the Social Security Institute to benefit from the supplementary insurance scheme./TCH
