President Bajram Begaj has approved the list of candidates to fill a vacant judge position on the Constitutional Court.

List of candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court

In accordance with Articles 93, 125, 127, point 1, letter “b” of the Constitution, as well as Articles 7, 7/a, 7/b of Law No. 8577, dated 10.2.2000, “On the Organization and Functioning of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania”, as amended, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bajram Begaj, in the capacity of the appointing authority, and in order to fill the vacancy created in the Constitutional Court on 25.4.2025, by Decree No. 387, dated 31.10.2025, has approved:

Announcement of the application procedure for the appointment of a judge to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, in order to fill the vacancy created on 25.4.2025.

After the deadline for accepting applications, the candidates who have expressed interest in filling the vacancy are as follows:
