Associate Justice Erion Alibej has analyzed several criminal events, where two of them are considered important for the Special Prosecutor's Office. 

Alibej has confessed not only events for which he himself is suspected of having organized or commissioned, but also other crimes for which he claims to have information, where two of them are sensational events.

Investigators have immediately started verifying the statements to determine if they match the evidence so far for certain events.

SPAK has withdrawn several files of events for which it has confessed, either in cases where it is suspected as the author or organizer, but also for events in which it claims to know the authors and organizers.

They have also started checks, taking testimonies of the mentioned persons and collecting materials that can serve as important evidence for the investigations.

Erion Alibej ended up in handcuffs in September 2020. He is the brother of Endri Alibej, executed in December 2018 together with Arben Dylgjeri, his uncle, and a Turkish citizen named Erdal Durunay, near the Metallurgical Plant.
