The 'mystery' of the theft of a woman's remains from the cemetery in the city of Lushnja, where an underground tunnel had been dug, was being solved.

36-year-old Edison Ngresi is suspected of damaging the grave, as he suffers from mental health problems.

The suspect was escorted by the Police to the Police Station for further action.

Police announcement:

At around 10:00, the cemetery guard of the city of Lushnja, citizen OR, noticed damage to the upper part of a grave.

"It is previously suspected that the grave was damaged (dug) by citizen Edison Ngresi, 36 years old, who suffers from mental health problems," the police announced.

The Police Services have accompanied citizen Edison Ngresi to the premises of the Police Station for further action. The investigative group continues its work to document the circumstances of the case.
