Fatal accident in Tirana-Durres

A fatal accident was recorded yesterday evening at around 23:50 on the "Tirana-Durrës" axis.

It is suspected that the 39-year-old lost control of the vehicle and died as a result.

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old passenger was injured. The young man is in hospital under the care of doctors.

"On 20.04.2026, at around 23:50, the vehicle with the driver, citizen SC, 39 years old, and the passenger, citizen VC, 29 years old, is suspected of having left the road, on the "Tirana-Durrës" axis. As a result, the 39-year-old lost his life, while citizen VC is under the care of doctors. The investigation team is working to clarify and document the circumstances of the case," the police announced today.
