BREAKING NEWS/ Anti-drug operation in Tirana, 30 arrest warrants issued

A large-scale anti-drug operation is being conducted by the Tirana Police, and it is learned that 30 arrest warrants have been issued by order of the prosecution.

It is about cracking down on several criminal groups, long involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics in various areas of the capital.

The investigations have been underway for several months by the Tirana Anti-Drugs Sector. Sources indicate that the starting point of this operation were the previous raids, where evidence implicating the suspects was obtained by analyzing communications.

During the investigations, Antidrugs has also used proactive methods, as well as simulated purchases to document criminal activity.

The number of people arrested is still unknown, while the quantities of narcotics seized during the operation have not been made public.
