A 33-year-old man was arrested by the Elbasan police, after stealing a significant amount of money from his brother.

It is reported that 33-year-old citizen Klinti Muftiu, a resident of Elbasan, was arrested.  

On 17.07.2024, the Prosecutor's Office of Elbasan has issued a restraining order for this citizen, as it is suspected that during the month of June 2024, he withdrew the amount of 1,500,000 ALL from his brother's bank account, with the card he had taken from his mother theirs, by means of fraud.     

Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Elbasan, as a result of the intensive investigative actions carried out at the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Elbasan, immediately after the administration of a report filed on 01.07.2024, for a case of fraud, they have finalized the coded police operation "Cash".

In the framework of this operation, the citizen KM, 33 years old, resident of Elbasan, was identified, arrested and detained.  

On 17.07.2024, the Prosecutor's Office of Elbasan has issued a restraining order for this citizen, as it is suspected that during the month of June 2024, he withdrew the amount of 1,500,000 ALL from his brother's bank account, with the card he had taken from his mother theirs, by means of fraud.     

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Fraud", with serious consequences.
