An accident with fatal consequences was recorded this afternoon on the Strum-Roskovec road axis, in Fier.

Two vehicles collided with each other and then hit a motorcycle driven by 33-year-old Klajdi Hoxha.

The collision was violent, causing serious injuries to the young man.

Despite being urgently transported to the Fier Regional Hospital, unfortunately the 33-year-old was unable to survive the injuries he sustained.

The police and the investigation team immediately arrived at the scene, and are working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.

Police announcement:

"Around 17:20, on the "Strum-Roskovec" road axis, the vehicle driven by citizen FD collided with the vehicle driven by citizen BC, and with the motorcycle driven by citizen KH, 33 years old, resident of Strum.

The driver of the vehicle died as a result of the collision.

"The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident," the police statement said.
