A tragic event has been confirmed today in the Holta area, Gramsh, where two workers lost their lives after a landslide occurred during work at a hydroelectric power plant construction site.

According to the official Police announcement, the victims have been identified as citizens Abas Basha, 22, and Egzon Lleshi, 32, who were at work at the time of the accident. The mass of earth is suspected to have accidentally slipped, trapping the workers.

The incident occurred near a canal that supplies water to the hydroelectric power plant under construction, while police authorities and medical teams immediately arrived at the scene after receiving the report.

The investigation team is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document this serious event, which comes just a few days after another fatal accident in Klos, where a 29-year-old man lost his life from the collapse of a massive chrome structure.
