A video of the murder of Greek businessman  Panagiotis Stathis has been released, showing the moment he was shot dead in a mob assassination on July 2.

In the footage, the perpetrator appears wearing black clothes and a white space suit on his head.

He approaches the businessman's car, pulls out his gun and shoots at the 54-year-old through the driver's window.

After the first shots, the assassin reloads the magazine and continues to shoot at the businessman, making sure that he has passed away.

Then, he leaves the scene.

An unidentified 44-year-old man has been arrested as a suspected perpetrator of the businessman's murder, however, he has denied the charges.

The police have discovered that the suspect had made detailed research about the victim's life.

It is suspected that a photo of a weapon, which resembles the one used in the crime, was found in the arrested person's cell phone.

Also, a photo of Panagiotis Stathis was found, which is believed to have been taken by the suspect himself after a meeting with another businessman in Mykonos.

Greek police investigations into the murder of businessman Panagiotis Stathis have revealed a possible connection with another serious crime, the murder of the Albanian, Alfons Ndoci.

Both victims, Stathis and Ndoci, seem to have had collaborations in some "jobs".

Alfons Ndoci was previously accused of being used by various businessmen to commit criminal acts, due to property conflicts in Mykonos.
