In a statement to journalists outside the Special Prosecutor's Office, Mustafa Lici , the father of the much-wanted Ibrahim Lici, accused three police leaders this Tuesday, as the people who, according to him, are behind the indictment brought against his son.

Reiterating his son's innocence, Mustafa Lici showed reporters a USB, where he said he had all the security camera footage showing Ibrahim Lici's movements on the dates he is accused of murdering Endri Mustafa.

Mustafa Lici:  In our city, in Shkodër, an alibi has been created by police officers who, I hope, are implicated by dollars and not by politics, because it is much more dangerous to be from politics, to be from the dollars they have received from crime. An indictment has been completed by manipulating the people who are in SPAK today, for the boy.

Believe this from me. Ardit Hasanbegaj, the former head of crimes in Shkodër, Luan Hamzallari and Niko Brahimaj built this indictment. By violence and by means. They have built an indictment where they did not know that we have cameras. They built that indictment by imposing even the little child, telling him that this is the murderer, it is Ibrahim Lici. These people did not know that we have cameras.

And we handed over the cameras to these same criminals to protect themselves. Before we handed over the cameras and we declared in the media that we have cameras, immediately the police director Brahimaj, after 4 days, took over the position of the director of Criminalistics, because he heard that we will hand over these cameras. So you claim that Ibrahim Lici is not part of the crime where his neighbor was killed?

Mustafa Lici:  Yes. You will see for yourself, that we will make them public very soon, that the time has come to make them public. You will see it yourself, and you who are not experts will say that this is Ibrahim in this schedule. And Niko Brahim's expertise has stated that there is no resemblance to Ibrahim. You talked about the police... the prosecution submitted the request for extradition, the police say that we arrested him in Turkey. Do you have an answer for this?

Mustafa Lici:  I'm not in Turkey, I'm in Albania. I sent a man yesterday to meet the boy and find out the truth, what the truth is.

Mustafa Lici : Definitely, he declared it in order to face the charges. He said I am free and I have left justice in his hands. He really wants to face me and you will see who the crime is and how far the crime has reached. You understand, Ardit Hasanbegaj is in SPAK. He made the file to the boy.

Mustafa Lici made these statements after leaving SPAK, he was summoned to Shkodra for a case.

Ibrahim Lici was arrested in Turkey after more than two years on the run. He is accused of murdering Endri Mustafa, an event that happened in May 2021 in Shkodër.

For this reason, the Prosecutor's Office of Shkodra submitted to the Ministry of Justice the file with the results of the investigation conducted against him, with which he requests his extradition from Turkey.
