A serious incident was recorded this evening in the Kinostudio area in Tirana, where two people lost their lives.

The incident occurred in an apartment on "Marije Kraja" street, where two people, aged 56 and 47, were found dead, suspected of asphyxiation from a gas leak.

Police Announcement:

On 19.12.2024, at around 17:20, on "Marije Kraja" street, it is suspected that the owner of the apartment, citizen AM, about 47 years old, and his distant relative, citizen VB, about 56 years old, were asphyxiated by a gas leak, who lost their lives according to confirmation by medical staff.

The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to clarify the circumstances and fully legalize the event.
