Two Albanian brothers and a Romanian are accused of a quantity of 60 kilograms that was seized in Ireland. They appeared at Cork Crown Court on Sunday.

Gentjan and Donatel Dodaj, together with Daniel Afedoaei, are accused of possessing cocaine with the intention of distributing it. The court decided to keep the three in custody.

Gentjan Dodaj, 39, arrived at the hearing with a sweater on his head to cover his face. He did not speak during the hearing. He was assigned a state attorney as Dodaj had recently started a business and had run out of money.

An interpreter was requested for his brother, Donateli, 22 years old. His lawyer said her client had arrived in Ireland four weeks ago and was living with his brother. Jail also for 22-year-old Afedoaei, who is of Romanian origin.

All those arrested will appear in court next week, on August 14. The measure of conditional release was not applied to them. The seizure of cocaine was made following intelligence on a person suspected of being involved in organized crime.
