SPAK has placed under investigation two other mayors suspected of violating equality in tenders and abuse of office.

Sources told Top Channel that the mayor of Kamza, Rakip Suli, and the mayor of Rrogozhina, Edison Memolla, are being investigated by the special prosecutor Elvin Gokaj, after the accusations that suspect both officials of abusing the city's cleaning tenders, but also that have signed indemnities on the damage to the houses from the earthquake.

SPAK has not yet questioned the two heads of local government, but has prepared invitations to question employees of the respective municipalities. In the preliminary data obtained from the investigation, it is suspected that some citizens have received compensation twice for the same object.

The Special Prosecutor's Office has ordered the seizure of documents on the procedure followed for tenders and compensations.

Several mayors and former mayors ended up being defendants during this year, especially for tenders, as denounced not only by the KLSH, but also referred by the ordinary prosecutors who transferred the competence to SPAK. /Top channel
