The Albanian government has approved on September 7 the types of additional services offered by the state police and payment rates for legal and natural persons, public or private.

Thus, whoever wants to receive state police personnel, or equipment and clothing from it, must pay according to pre-approved rates.

Specifically, the salary for police officers and the vehicles received by the police will have fixed rates, starting from hourly use, 815 ALL per hour for police officers, up to 5000 ALL per hour for police vehicles.

The protection and presence of the police and for additional services, in sports or cultural activities, will be at a figure of 1630 lek per hour.

Meanwhile, the protection of legal entities, which have benefited from the status of strategic investor, will be protected by the police with additional services against 1200 ALL per hour.

On the other hand, the use of police tools such as uniforms, logos or maneuver cartridges will have a fee of 1000 ALL per day.

Police and its tools can be used to support the development of cultural, national and international activities, such as: fairs, exhibitions, theaters, concerts, performances, various festivals, in open and closed public environments, as well as during the development of national and international sports activities, in cases where the organizers of these activities are not provided with a security certificate from the State Police.

Also for private physical insurance, to maintain security within the perimeter of activity development; the putting into use of the State Police uniform, weapons with maneuver cartridges, other equipment, logged police vehicles and premises, in the field of cinematography, during the development of film shoots; escorting vehicles transporting dangerous goods, in case of additional security conditions.

The decision also provides for the temporary storage and security for a period of up to 3 (three) months to public legal entities of strategic importance, whose activity is assessed as being at risk, as well as to private legal entities that have benefited from the status "Investment/strategic investor, special procedure".

The income, which is realized from the performance of the additional services defined in this decision, is used to the extent of 90% by the General Directorate of the State Police and is treated as income beyond the limit in order to use it to cover the expenses incurred for the provision of the service, according to this decision, and 10% is poured into the state budget./OraNews
