Another public name has been added to the list of personalities entering the construction sector. It is Donald Veshaj, known from the television program "Big Brother", who after being involved in media projects, has taken a new step in business.

In March 2024, Veshaj, together with Glenis Çobo, founded the company "DGC" sh.pk, with the purpose of activity in the field of construction and investments in this sector.

Developments in this company continued in December 2024, when the company “Anchor Investment”, owned by Albi Shyti, purchased 50 percent of the shares of “DGC” for a value of 5 thousand euros. After this change in the ownership structure, the three partners filed an application for the construction of a large facility in the city of Vlora.

According to documents consulted by Boldnews, the project envisages the construction of a residential and hotel building with 33 floors above ground and 4 floors underground. The request for this development was included in the agenda of the National Territorial Council meeting of April 29, 2026, specifically in point 50.

At the moment there is no official confirmation whether this permit has been approved by the National Territorial Council, which is headed by Prime Minister Edi Rama. The decision is expected to be made public by the Territorial Development Agency in the coming weeks.

Other details about the project, such as the exact location or construction timeline, are not yet available. However, the application for a 33-story tower in one of the major coastal cities signals a significant investment in the construction market.
