Other serious details have been revealed from the incident that occurred in Greece, this brother and sister suffocated their father with a pillow in their home, with the cooperation of the victim's daughter's husband.

The 66-year-old's son stands by his original claim, saying he was repeatedly abused by his father. The 22-year-old has claimed to police that his father sexually abused him more than once.

"He came out of the bathroom naked with a knife and tried to rape me," she told officers, adding: "He was screaming at me that he wanted to do it one last time."

However, the 22-year-old's sister takes a different view, indirectly denying his words. As she told the police, her brother had never told her that their father had abused him.

The 66-year-old's son and daughter, as well as the victim's son-in-law, are accused of the serious crime, who also claimed that the incident occurred in an attempt at self-defense.

The young men's lawyer stated that the criminal prosecution filed against them is for joint murder in a calm state of mind and the investigator gave them a deadline to apologize.

The motive for the incident remains unknown to Greek investigators, but according to Protothema, it is initially suspected that the motive was financial, as 12 thousand euros were found in their apartment.

The crime has shocked the local community, mainly for its dynamics, as the perpetrators are suspected of having attacked the 66-year-old while he was sleeping and, with gloves, placed a pillow over his face, causing him to suffocate to death.

Then, in an attempt to deceive the authorities, they stripped the victim of his clothes, put a knife in his hand, and took him to the basement stairs of the house, where he was found by police.

What betrayed the perpetrators of the terrible crime?

Before the crime, the 22-year-old son had called authorities and said that his father had attacked and attempted to rape him.

The alleged perpetrators' claims did not convince the police and after a thorough investigation, their involvement was revealed. In fact, the 22-year-old's phone call was assessed by the authorities as suspicious and they turned their attention to him.

"From the beginning, the location where the 66-year-old's body was found was not fixed. Also, the claims that the boy was attacked by his father were not convincing. He is a tall man while the victim was petite,"  noted sources with knowledge of the case.

After the crime, the perpetrators burned evidence of the crime, pillows and clothes outside the house, some of which were found and confiscated.

The police also found two household knives and a magazine with homosexual content, which the perpetrators had placed between two mattresses on which the victim was sleeping, as well as an amount of 12 thousand euros.
